In Saturday's non-league test, the Southwest Trojans (Washburn, MO) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Wheaton Bulldogs (Wheaton, MO), by a tally of 16-2.
Next, the Trojans clash with the Exeter Tigers (Exeter, MO) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 24. Southwest will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 1-3 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Liberal (Liberal, MO).
The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Verona (Verona, MO). The Wildcats go into the Class 1 District 5 test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Verona was routed by Southwest (Washburn, MO), 23-0, in a non-league test.
