The Monte Vista Monarchs volleyball team (Spring Valley, CA), was dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's league bout with the visiting Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA)
With the win, Granite Hills upgrades its record to 11-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to El Capitan (Lakeside, CA) to play the Vaqueros in a Grossmont Valley bout on Monday, March 28. The Vaqueros go into the bout with a record of 11-10.
The Monarchs now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Mount Miguel for a Grossmont Valley bout on Monday, March 28. Monte Vista will play a Matadors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Hills (Santee, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 2-5.
