The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA) and the visiting Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA), saw Granite Hills's volleyball squad beat Monte Vista by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Granite Hills upgrades its record to 19-13 on the year. The Eagles host El Capitan (Lakeside, CA) to play the Vaqueros in a Grossmont Valley bout on Wednesday, April 27. The Vaqueros go into the bout with a record of 20-15. El Capitan won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA)

The Monarchs now own a 4-18 record. They play next when they host Mount Miguel for a Grossmont Valley bout on Wednesday, April 27. Monte Vista will play a Matadors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Hills (Santee, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 2-10.
