North Carolina High School Softball - Richlands Topsail

March 23, 2022: Hampstead, NC 28443

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Topsail Pirates softball team scored a close 4-0 win over the Richlands Wildcats.

Coming up next, the Pirates encounter the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A outing, on Friday, March 25. Topsail will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Scorpions enter the outing with a 1-7 record after their 18-4 non-league loss to Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC).

The Wildcats (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against West Carteret (Morehead City, NC). The Patriots enter the Coastal 3A outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, West Carteret was routed by Washington (Washington, NC), 6-0, in a non-league outing.
