The Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers crushed the host St. Mary's Saints baseball team by a count of 14-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Cavaliers now possess a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calvert Hall for a MIAA A bout on Friday, March 24. Archbishop Spalding will face a Cardinals team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to St. John's (Washington, DC). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-4.
Next, the Saints face the John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD) in a MIAA A bout, on Friday, March 24. St. Mary's will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD).
