North Carolina High School Baseball - Pine Forest can't hold off Gray's Creek

In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Gray's Creek Bears baseball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Pine Forest Trojans.

The Bears (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Buccaneers go into the United Eight 3A/4A game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Jack Britt was edged by Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC), 11-5, in a league battle.

The Trojans now possess a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Harnett Central for a All American 3A/4A battle on Friday, March 24. Pine Forest will play a Trojans squad coming off a 6-3 league loss to Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 4-5.
