North Carolina High School Baseball - Pine Forest defeats Gray's Creek

Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC), 9-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Pine Forest upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Trojans host Western Harnett (Lillington, NC) to battle the Eagles in a All American 3A/4A test on Tuesday, March 14. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-5. Western Harnett won 6-4 in their recent league test against Harnett Central (Angier, NC)

With the defeat, Gray's Creek falls to 2-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Triton (Erwin, NC) to battle the Hawks in a non-league test on Monday, March 13. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 5-0. Triton won 15-2 in their recent league test against Overhills (Spring Lake, NC)
