Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves (Dumfries, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Oakcrest Chargers (McLean, VA), 17-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Wolves now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fredericksburg Christian for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 27. Saint John Paul the Great Catholic will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 34-1 league win over Seton (Manassas, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Foxcroft None (Middleburg, VA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 28. Oakcrest will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
