The North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI) lacrosse routed the host Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI), 9-0 in Sunday's league outing.
The Cougars now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Smithfield for a non-league outing on Monday, March 31.
With the loss, Cranston East falls to 0-1 on the year. The Thunderbolts host Rogers (Newport, RI) to face the Vikings in a Division 4 outing on Saturday, April 5. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
