North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI) backers exited the stadium satisfied Monday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI), 16-0 in a league game.

The Thunderbolts now have a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ponaganset for a Division 4 game on Tuesday, April 29. Cranston East will play a Chieftains team coming off a 16-0 league win over Classical (Providence, RI). The Chieftains record now stands at 5-4.
