North Carolina High School Softball - Forest Hills topped by Anson

March 24, 2022: Marshville, NC 28103

In Thursday's league contest, the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), by a margin of 15-0.

With the triumph, Anson moves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Bearcats host Union Academy (Monroe, NC) to play the Cardinals in a non-league contest on Monday, March 28. The Cardinals come into the contest with a record of 10-0. Union Academy won 14-1 in their recent league contest against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC)

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets play the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 28. Forest Hills will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Comets come into the contest with a 8-2 record after their 17-1 league loss to South Stanly (Norwood, NC).
