North Carolina High School Softball - Forest Hills loses to Anson

April 12, 2022: Wadesboro, NC 28170

The Anson Bearcats softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Forest Hills Yellow Jackets to 1 in the Bearcats league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Anson improves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Central Academy (Monroe, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a Rocky River 2A/3A game on Thursday, April 14. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 6-8. Central Academy lost 2-0 in their recent league game against Parkwood (Monroe, NC)

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets clash with the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A game, on Wednesday, April 13. Forest Hills will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Colts come into the game with a 13-3 record after their 12-2 league win over Parkwood (Monroe, NC).
