Florida High School Softball - Venice gets by Charlotte

The Venice Indians (Venice, FL) softball nipped the host Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons (Punta Gorda, FL), 4-3 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Indians (11-0) will now prepare for their bout against DeSoto County (Arcadia, FL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 6-3 record.

The Fightin' Tarpons now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Barron Collier for a non-league bout on Monday, March 28. Charlotte will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 11-6 non-league loss to Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 4-5.
