The Lancaster Bruins softball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Chester Cyclones to 0 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Lancaster improves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Bruins travel to Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC) to clash with the Warriors in a AAAA Region 3 game on Friday, March 25. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 1-4. Indian Land lost 6-2 in their recent league game against Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC)

In their next game, the Cyclones clash with the Blacksburg Wildcats (Blacksburg, SC) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 1. Chester will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 3-1 record after their 17-2 league win over Brashier Middle College Charter (Simpsonville, SC).
