The Great Bridge Wildcats softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Indian River Braves to 2 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Great Bridge improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, March 25. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 1-1. Landstown won 11-9 in their recent league game against Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA)

In their next game, the Braves clash with the Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern game, on Thursday, March 31. Indian River will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Hawks come into the game with a 5-1 record after their 15-4 league win over Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA).
