The Jay Royals softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Pace Patriots to 9 in the Royals non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Jay moves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Royals travel to Northview (Bratt, FL) to clash with the Chiefs in a 1A District 1 game on Friday, March 25. The Chiefs come into the game with a record of 6-4. Northview won 14-2 in their recent non-league game against Escambia (Pensacola, FL)

Next up, the Patriots meet the Navarre Raiders (Navarre, FL) in a 6A District 1 battle, on Friday, March 25. Pace will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Raiders go into the battle with a 6-5 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Gulf Breeze (Gulf Breeze, FL).
