North Carolina High School Baseball - North Brunswick nudged by Hoggard

The North Brunswick Scorpions baseball team (Leland, NC), was tipped 2-1 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC)

The Vikings now hold a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Purnell Swett for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 25. Hoggard will confront a Rams team coming off a 25-4 league win over Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Rams record now stands at 5-6.

Next, the Scorpions confront the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A outing, on Tuesday, March 28. North Brunswick will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Trojans go into the outing with a 5-6 record after their 9-3 league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC).
