North Carolina High School Baseball - North Brunswick gets by Hoggard

Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) and the host Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC), saw North Brunswick's baseball squad knock off Hoggard by a count of 4-2.

Coming up next, the Scorpions play the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A battle, on Thursday, April 27. North Brunswick will attempt to move on its 11-10 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 12-9 record after their 1-0 league win over Topsail (Hampstead, NC).

The Vikings now possess a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashley for a Mideastern 3A/4A battle on Thursday, April 27. Hoggard will play a Screaming Eagle squad coming off a 14-4 league loss to South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Screaming Eagle record now stands at 10-10.
