Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK), 62-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bettye Davis East Anchorage upgrades its record to 23-5 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to West Valley (Fairbanks, AK) to play the Wolf Pack in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 25. The Wolf Pack go into the bout with a record of 26-1. West Valley won 44-41 in their recent non-league bout against Monroe Catholic (Fairbanks, AK)

Next up, the Eagles play the Monroe Catholic Rams (Fairbanks, AK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 25. West Anchorage will attempt to upgrade on its 16-10 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 21-6 record after their 44-41 non-league loss to West Valley (Fairbanks, AK).
