In Friday's league battle, the Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA) lacrosse squad edged the visiting Deep Run Wildcats (Glen Allen, VA), by a count of 9-8.
Coming up next, the Mavericks clash with the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 29. Freeman will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 13-2 league win over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).
The Wildcats now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glen Allen for a Colonial battle on Thursday, April 13.
