North Carolina High School Softball - R-S Central gets by Brevard

The R-S Central Hilltoppers got by the visiting Brevard Blue Devils softball squad by a final score of 5-4 in Friday's league battle.
The Hilltoppers (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Bearcats go into the Mountain Foothills Seven 2A battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Hendersonville was edged by Polk County (Columbus, NC), 12-10, in a league battle.
The Blue Devils now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to East Rutherford for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A battle on Tuesday, March 28. Brevard will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Chase (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-2.
