The Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX) softball routed the visiting Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX), 15-5 in Friday's league bout.

The Bulldogs (19-5) will now prepare for their bout against Cooper (Lubbock, TX). The Pirates go into the 5A Region I District 4 bout with a 8-4 record. In their last bout, Cooper was routed by Abilene (Abilene, TX), 10-0, in a league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Lubbock for a 5A Region I District 4 bout on Tuesday, April 4. Coronado will confront a Westerners squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Wylie (Abilene, TX). The Westerners record now stands at 4-8.
