The Corinth Holders Pirates crushed the visiting Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs baseball team by a count of 23-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cleveland for a Greater Neuse River 4A bout on Tuesday, March 29. Corinth Holders will face a Rams team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC). The Rams record now stands at 7-3.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 4A bout, on Tuesday, March 29. Southeast Raleigh will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Comets enter the bout with a 5-5 record after their 5-0 league win over Cleveland (Clayton, NC).
