North Carolina High School Baseball - Fairmont defeats West Bladen

March 25, 2022: Fairmont, NC 28340

Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC) and the visiting West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC), saw Fairmont's baseball squad knock off West Bladen by a count of 8-2.

Coming up next, the Golden Tornadoes play the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) in a Southeastern Athletic 2A battle, on Tuesday, March 29. Fairmont will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 6-2 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Whiteville (Whiteville, NC).

The Knights now possess a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Red Springs for a Southeastern Athletic 2A battle on Tuesday, March 29. West Bladen will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 10-3 league loss to Clinton (Clinton, NC). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-4.
