The University Trojans volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting El Modena Vanguards to 1 in the Trojans non-league victory on Friday.

The Trojans now have a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Irvine for a Pacific Coast game on Monday, March 28. University will confront a Vaqueros team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Portola (Irvine, CA). The Vaqueros record now stands at 7-14.

The Vanguards (8-7) will now prepare for their game against Esperanza (Anaheim, CA). The Aztecs enter the non-league game with a 4-13 record.
