Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Oroville Tigers (Oroville, CA), 15-3 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Las Plumas for a Butte View challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Corning will face a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Sutter (Sutter, CA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Oroville falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Wheatland (Wheatland, CA) to face the Pirates in a Butte View challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 12-1. Wheatland won 11-0 in their recent league challenge against Orland (Orland, CA)
