North Carolina High School Baseball - Seventy-First loses to Red Springs

The Seventy-First Falcons baseball team (Fayetteville, NC), was overwhelmed 15-0 in Monday's non-league outing with the host Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC)

The Red Devils now hold a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Pauls for a Southeastern Athletic 2A outing on Tuesday, March 26. Red Springs will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.

Next, the Falcons confront the Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A outing, on Tuesday, March 26. Seventy-First will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 0-8 record after their 35-11 non-league loss to East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC).
