In Tuesday's league game, the host Anacoco Indians baseball team scored a close 6-3 win over the Fairview Panthers.
The Indians (6-12) will now prepare for their game against Pitkin (Pitkin, LA). The Tigers go into the B District 4 game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Pitkin nudged Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA), 12-9, in a non-league game.
Next, the Panthers play the Hicks Pirates (Leesville, LA) in a B District 4 game, on Thursday, March 27. Fairview will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Pirates go into the game with a 11-4 record after their 6-3 league loss to Elizabeth (Elizabeth, LA).
