The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Anacoco Indians (Anacoco, LA) and the host Fairview Panthers (Grant, LA), saw Anacoco's baseball team gain a win over Fairview by a tally of 11-9.
The Indians (12-16) will now prepare for their battle against Pitkin (Pitkin, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 16-6 record. In their last battle, Pitkin held off Hicks (Leesville, LA), 13-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Panthers face the Reeves Raiders (Reeves, LA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 14. Fairview will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 10-14 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Singer (Singer, LA).
