The East Hall Vikings baseball squad (Gainesville, GA), was overwhelmed 12-6 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA)

With the triumph, Monroe Area moves its record to 6-11 on the season. The Purple Hurricanes host Clarke Central (Athens, GA) to confront the Gladiators in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 27. The Gladiators come into the contest with a record of 11-11. Clarke Central won 16-0 in their recent non-league contest against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA)

The Vikings now possess a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroe Area for a AAA Region 8 contest on Friday, March 28. East Hall will confront a Purple Hurricanes squad coming off a 12-6 league win over East Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Purple Hurricanes record now stands at 6-11.
