The Oxford Prep Griffins soccer squad scored 8 points and held the host Henderson Collegiate Pride to 0 in the Griffins league victory on Tuesday.

The Griffins now hold a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Vance County for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 27. Oxford Prep will play a Vipers squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC). The Vipers record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Henderson Collegiate moves to 1-5 on the year. The Pride travel to Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a Triangle North 1A bout on Thursday, March 27. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Roxboro Community won 4-1 in their recent non-league bout against Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC)
