The Belton Tigers softball squad (Belton, TX), was edged 7-6 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host University Trojans (Waco, TX)

The Tigers now hold a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Chaparral for a contest on Friday, March 28. Belton will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Waco (Waco, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 8-8.
