The Lexington Wildcats triumphed over the visiting Dutch Fork Silver Foxes softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats play the White Knoll Timberwolves (Lexington, SC) in a AAAAA Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, March 27. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Timberwolves enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 13-3 league win over Irmo (Columbia, SC).
The Silver Foxes (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against River Bluff (Lexington, SC). The Gators enter the AAAAA Region 4 challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, River Bluff overcame Fox Creek (North Augusta, SC), 9-6, in a non-league challenge.
