South Carolina High School Softball - Dutch Fork succumbs to Lexington

In Thursday's league test, the Lexington Wildcats (Lexington, SC) softball squad overwhelmed the host Dutch Fork Silver Foxes (Irmo, SC), by a tally of 17-5.
Next, the Wildcats clash with the White Knoll Timberwolves (Lexington, SC) in a AAAAA Region 4 test, on Tuesday, April 22. Lexington will attempt to advance on its 16-2 season record. The Timberwolves go into the test with a 9-6 record after their 16-0 non-league win over Spring Valley (Columbia, SC).
The Silver Foxes (6-10) will now prepare for their test against River Bluff (Lexington, SC). The Gators go into the AAAAA Region 4 test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, River Bluff prevailed over Irmo (Columbia, SC), 16-1, in a league test.
