Texas High School Baseball - Slaton loses to Shallowater

In Saturday's league game, the host Shallowater Mustangs baseball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Slaton Tigers.

The Mustangs (16-1) will now prepare for their game against Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX). The Eagles go into the 3A Region I District 2 game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Roosevelt was overwhelmed by Abernathy (Abernathy, TX), 11-2, in a league game.
