Texas High School Baseball - Slaton loses to Shallowater

The Shallowater Mustangs crushed the host Slaton Tigers baseball team by a tally of 9-1 in Monday's league bout.

The Mustangs now hold a 21-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a 3A Region I District 2 bout on Friday, April 15. Shallowater will face a Eagles team coming off a 12-2 league loss to Abernathy (Abernathy, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-9.

Next, the Tigers face the Idalou Wildcats (Idalou, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 bout, on Friday, April 15. Slaton will attempt to advance on its 7-16 season record.
