The North Brunswick Scorpions lacrosse squad (Leland, NC), was overwhelmed 18-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC)

Coming up next, the Pirates confront the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a Mideastern contest, on Thursday, March 28. Topsail will attempt to improve on its 9-0 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 3-6 record after their 17-7 league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC).

The Scorpions now sport a 1-9 record. They play next when they host New Hanover for a Mideastern contest on Wednesday, March 27. North Brunswick will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-2 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-3.
