Virginia High School Soccer - Nelson County knocks off Alleghany

The Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) soccer bounced the host Alleghany Cougars (Covington, VA), 8-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Nelson County moves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Governors travel to Dan River (Ringgold, VA) to battle the Wildcats in a Dogwood bout on Friday, April 12. The Wildcats enter the bout with a record of 1-2.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a Three Rivers bout, on Wednesday, April 3. Alleghany will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Northside (Roanoke, VA).
