Virginia High School Softball - Orange County bounces Albemarle

The Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) softball routed the visiting Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA), 8-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Fighting Hornets (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Warriors go into the Jefferson bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Western Albemarle was routed by Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 14-2, in a league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Fluvanna County for a Jefferson contest on Thursday, March 28. Albemarle will play a Flying Flucos team coming off a 20-0 league win over Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Flying Flucos record now stands at 1-3.
