The Belton-Honea Path Bears baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Palmetto Mustangs to 5 in the Bears non-league win on Wednesday.
The Bears now hold a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to T.L. Hanna for a non-league test on Thursday, March 27. Belton-Honea Path will play a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 5-3 league win over Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 9-2.
With the defeat, Palmetto drops to 1-8 on the year. The Mustangs host Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC) to play the Bears in a non-league test on Friday, March 28. The Bears go into the test with a record of 4-7. Belton-Honea Path lost 12-1 in their recent non-league test against T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC)
