Fans at Wednesday's league test between the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA) and the host Menlo School Knights (Atherton, CA), witnessed St. Ignatius College Preparatory's lacrosse squad top Menlo School by a count of 22-3.
The Wildcats (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Redwood (Larkspur, CA). The Giants enter the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Redwood was overwhelmed by Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA), 8-7, in a league test.
Next, the Knights battle the Patrick Henry Patriots (San Diego, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 29. Menlo School will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Patriots enter the test with a 2-4 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Del Norte (San Diego, CA).
