The Academy Park Knights baseball team scored 24 runs and held the host Chester Clippers to 12 in the Knights league win on Thursday.
The Knights now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Interboro for a Delaware Valley test on Tuesday, April 1. Academy Park will play a Buccaneers team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Ridley (Folsom, PA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Chester drops to 0-3 on the year. The Clippers host Penn Wood (Lansdowne, PA) to play the Patriots in a Delaware Valley test on Tuesday, April 1. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 1-2.
