California High School Baseball - Arroyo nips San Leandro

The Arroyo Dons baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting San Leandro Pirates to 2 in the Dons league win on Thursday.

The Dons now hold a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alameda for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. Arroyo will play a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Berkeley (Berkeley, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 5-5.

With the defeat, San Leandro drops to 6-4 on the year. The Pirates host Head-Royce (Oakland, CA) to play the Jayhawks in a non-league test on Monday, March 31. The Jayhawks go into the test with a record of 4-2. Head-Royce won 11-1 in their recent league test against College Prep (Oakland, CA)
