Arizona High School Baseball - Fairfax nips Metro Tech

March 27, 2025: Phoenix, AZ 85105

The Fairfax Stampede baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Metro Tech Knights to 13 in the Stampede league win on Thursday.

The Stampede now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to McClintock for a 5A Metro test on Tuesday, April 1. Fairfax will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 13-4 league loss to Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ). The Chargers record now stands at 8-7.

With the defeat, Metro Tech drops to 2-5 on the year. The Knights host Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ) to clash with the Lions in a 5A Metro test on Tuesday, April 1. The Lions go into the test with a record of 7-3. Alhambra won 13-4 in their recent league test against McClintock (Tempe, AZ)
