Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA) and the host Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA), observed Archbishop Mitty's volleyball team top Saint Francis by a count of 3-0.

The Monarchs (9-0) will now prepare for their contest against Whitney (Rocklin, CA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Whitney was knocked off by Del Oro (Loomis, CA), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Lancers battle the Bellarmine College Prep Bells (San Jose, CA) in a WCAL contest, on Tuesday, April 1. Saint Francis will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Bells enter the contest with a 8-6 record after their 3-2 league win over Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA).
