The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs edged the host Saint Francis Lancers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Monarchs confront the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA) in a WCAL game, on Tuesday, April 8. Archbishop Mitty will attempt to advance on its 22-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 6-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA).
The Lancers (10-8) will now prepare for their game against Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Warriors go into the WCAL game with a 7-8 record. In their last game, Valley Christian was edged by Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA), 3-2, in a league game.
