El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Tustin Tillers (Tustin, CA), 16-5 in a non-league game.
With the victory, El Modena improves its record to 3-8 on the season. The Vanguards travel to Valencia (Placentia, CA) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Monday, April 7. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 4-7.
The Tillers now have a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valencia for a Empire game on Friday, March 28. Tustin will play a Tigers team coming off a 20-1 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-6.
