The Kearney Bearcats (Kearney, NE) baseball trounced the host North Platte Bulldogs (North Platte, NE), 11-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Bearcats now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Columbus for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 31. Kearney will clash with a Discoverers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE). The Discoverers record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, North Platte drops to 1-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Grand Island (Grand Island, NE) to clash with the Islanders in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 7. The Islanders go into the challenge with a record of 5-1.
