The Kearney Bearcats baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting North Platte Bulldogs to 0 in the Bearcats non-league win on Saturday.
The Bearcats now hold a 9-12 record. They take the field next when they host Millard West for a non-league test on Monday, April 21. Kearney will play a Wildcats team coming off a 7-1 league loss to Millard South (Omaha, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-5.
With the defeat, North Platte drops to 1-7 on the year.
