The El Dorado Golden Hawks softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Villa Park Spartans to 0 in the Golden Hawks league win on Thursday.

The Golden Hawks now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Foothill for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 29. El Dorado will confront a Knights team coming off a 5-2 league loss to Brea Olinda (Brea, CA). The Knights record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Villa Park moves to 6-9 on the season. The Spartans host Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA) to confront the Lancers in a Freeway battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Lancers come into the battle with a record of 8-6. Sunny Hills lost 12-0 in their recent league battle against La Habra (La Habra, CA)
